Thanksgiving Fever!

Hello P3 Families!

We hope everyone had a fun and safe Halloween! However, the festive feeling in the air has just begun. We are working very hard on our songs to prepare for our holiday program, and the children can’t wait to perform for you.

We have begun our North American studies, the desert biome, as well as, the Native American Tribes. The children are enjoying making their own North American flags and love learning all about the animals inhabiting our continent. We’ve been studying reptiles and the students are fascinated with all the different types of lizards and snakes, as well as, the life cycle of a sea turtle. Creepy crawlers are always fun! We also started lessons for our peace curriculum; a wonderful way for the children to learn conflict resolution, kindness, peace, and acceptance, and that we are all special and unique.

It’s finally Fall!

Hello P3 Families!

We have been so busy and have been having so much fun this month that October has flown by! Thank you all for attending conferences, we appreciate you for taking the time to work together with the P3 team to ensure we provide the best learning environment for your children to reach their goals. We also had a great time watching your children “teach” you how to work with our materials during parent night, so thank you for coming as well!

We have been continuing our studies on mammals, leaves, pumpkins, parts of the body, and even bats! Recently, we have been having fun studying the turkey and all its unique parts. The children have also been working very hard on their sounds, blending words with reading boxes, and lots and lots of counting! Don’t forget to practice the sound/number necklaces, words, or books that go home. Some of our kindergarten students have even begun dynamic addition and subtraction. And of course, the outdoor classroom has become one of the top favorites! Imagine the fun of catching bugs, feeding birds, gardening, and a ton of art projects.

Our primary class had the opportunity to attend a very exciting laser assembly, learning all about laser beams and how they work to create moving graphics. A big THANK YOU to our very dedicated parents for making World History Day such a success! Our classroom was AMAZING! The children had a blast travelling through time enjoying food and activities in every room. Our last assembly was “Amazing Animals”, where the children got to meet slithering reptiles and even a dog named Princess.
