Hello P3 Families!
We have had a busy November! The children have enjoyed learning about North America with focus on the United States. We have looked at the abbreviations of the states as well as studying the Native American culture, including symbols that have been used as early language and drawings. We have also studied some of the animals that live in North America.
The children have also been studying the parts of a reptile including taking a close look at the parts of a turtle.
Everyone is excited about Thanksgiving and we have discussed traditions as well as what we are thankful for. The children have commented that they are thankful for their family, food, school, cousins, hugs and their toys. It’s very sweet to hear them discuss this special holiday.
The children enjoyed our special assembly on Australian Animals! Some of our friends and teachers were very brave and held some of the creatures!
All of the P3 teachers wish everyone a very happy Thanksgiving!!!
