P3 Learners

Hello P3 Families!

We have started learning the geometric solids in class.  You may hear some words such as: three/four sided pyramid, ellipsoid, ovoid, cube, cylinder, square based prism, triangular based prism, sphere, and cone.

We studied the parts of the seed as well.  The students enjoy learning broad vocabulary! Practice some of these words at home!

We did a special cooking project with Sara’s family, where the children were able to create their own apple snack with special dipping sauce.  The students love to work in the kitchen!

Micah’s family came to work on an apple craft with our friends.  It was a beautiful day and we decided to create in our outdoor area.  Anything that involves cutting and glue is a favorite in P3.

We have started our anatomy studies and the children have been using a wonderful new work in the classroom to find where different organs in the body are located.

Our students are working hard in the classroom and are moving along with their studies.  Ask about some of these familiar works to start up conversations about school at home!
