Hello parents and welcome to our blog!
This week’s quote:
“Children are human beings to whom respect is due, superior to us by reason of their innocence and of the greater possibilities of their future” – Maria Montessori
Wow, what a busy week we had in P3!!
We started off with our magnificent Spring Performance. The children were so excited to finally perform and show off their talent to their parents! It was so wonderful for the children to experience a true on-stage performance. Thank you all for coming and supporting our theatre/music department.
On Friday, the children had their last “reading buddies” gathering. They shared a snack and a special book together. It was a great experience for our children to practice reading, build friendships, and build community within our school.
Our Kindergarteners finished their chapter reading book this week with Charlotte’s Web. It was a great book to share and the children had many discussions throughout each chapter. We finished it off with a chapter book party on Friday, and celebrated by watching the movie Charlotte’s Web while munching on popcorn!!
On Monday, June 3rd – We have Field Day. Please have your child arrive to school at 8:15am in order to be ready for our 8:40 starting time. Our class will begin promptly at 8:40am. Please have your child wear their bathing suit under their clothes, bring a towel, and apply sunscreen before coming to school. This will help in getting our class ready on time. Thank You!
Next week is our last week of school, so please look for any last minute items that will be sent home.
On Wednesday, June 5th – Our Kindergarteners have their “Moving Up Ceremony” at 1:30pm.
Our last day of school in Friday, June 7th with an early dismissal of 11:15am.
It has been an amazing year filled with joy, laughter, growth, friendship, courage, and most of all love. We, as teachers, are so blessed to be a part of your child’s life. They are all truly incredible children with talented futures. We will miss them all! Thank you to all our wonderful parents who supported us throughout the school year!!
