Fall is Here!

Dear P3 Parents,

We would like to thank all of you that have signed up for Parent-Teacher conferences. When teachers and parents work as a team, it is definitely a recipe for success! Should the days and times conflict with your schedule, please reach out us and we can reschedule a meeting for another time. We have resent the link to those parents that did not receive it. Please check your spam folders as well. We are really looking forward to speaking to each and every one of you! The Zoom link will be sent shortly, closer to the date. Please look out for that email as well, and we will let you know when that email has been sent.

We are concluding our studies on Community Helpers, Apples, Nutrition, and Land and Water Forms (Island and Lake). We have learned about different varieties, parts, and life cycle of an apple, talked about safety and what safety signs mean, and the children absolutely loved learning about firefighters, paramedics, and doctors! We talked about what an emergency entails, and have practiced our fire drill.

We love seeing your child participating in Fun Friday themes! Crazy Hair Day was the cutest!

We have also started our Peace Curriculum. This focuses on helping the children develop attitude, skills, and knowledge to live with oneself, others, and the environment. They learn about conflict resolution, making good decisions, and the importance of kindness.

As the weather starts to cool (Yes, 80 degrees is cool in Vegas!), please make sure jackets are labeled. Please check that your child’s mask is labeled as well. There are masks that are missing their owners on the bench outside our classroom, so please take a moment to check if they belong to your child. Again, we thank you for being extremely patient and cooperative with our COVID protocols and policies. We know the questions are repetitive, and keeping your child home can be inconvenient. However, it is definitely worth taking these minor precautions to prevent the extreme disruption of classroom shut downs. Again, we appreciate you working with us in keeping us all healthy!
