Celebrate America Day!!!

Dear P3 Families,

We had an amazing Celebrate America Day this year!  We could not have done it without our wonderful parent volunteers who put in countless hours to turn our room into California, you guys ROCK!!!  Our students enjoyed every moment of their tour around the United States and were able to make beautiful crafts, taste delicious foods, and learn fantastic lessons.

We also wanted to thank our P3 families for the delicious Teacher Luncheon…It makes us feel so very special and loved!!!

On a side note, there is a community fundraiser being held on Saturday, November 14th from 10:00-1:00 at Paseo Vista Park.  The event is in support of Kiera Powell who is 21 months old.  She was diagnosed with medulloblastoma brain cancer shortly after her first birthday.  Since that time she has endured five surgeries and five cycles of intense chemotherapy.  She has one more cycle to go followed by a stem cell transplant.  She is responding very well to her treatments.  Kiera has been through so much in her life and yet she still smiles and finds joy in day to day things.  Because of all of the medical treatments, her medical bills are piling up.  If you would like to, please come support her and her family to help raise money for their medical costs, as well as to raise awareness of childhood cancer.  Bring your family!  Lunch will be available with a donation.  This is a personal choice if you would like to attend, and is not  an FMS service project.
