Hello parents and thank you for visiting our blog.
This week’s quote: “Imagination does not become great until human beings, given the courage and the strength, use it to create.”

We hope everyone had a relaxing spring break and it was so nice to see all those bright smiles again on Tuesday!
VERY BIG NEWS TO SHARE:
After the Kindergarteners sent a letter to the President of the United States last month, we received a letter back from the President!!! President Obama thanked us for our kind words and caring thoughts about our country. He encouraged us all to continue to work hard and try and help those around us. He was very proud to see young Americans sharing such important views about our great country. The Kindergarteners were so excited to hear of this wonderful news!!
This week we started a new month with April self-portraits and calendars to take home and a new continent – South America. The children have enjoyed learning all about the amazing animals that live in South America. We talked about the Rain Forest and the layers that make up the Rain Forest. Please let us know If you have visited, have souvenirs, or know of any foods that come from South America/rain forest region and would like to share with our class. Thank You!
We are also looking for any parent volunteers who would like to bring a fruit snack for next week that relates to our theme – South America/Rain Forest (such as: dried coconut, mango, passion fruit, tangerines etc.) Thank you for your support!
Our Practical Life area has new activities for the children to explore such as; pouring, transferring, sewing, planting, and sorting which continues to build on fine motor skills, independence, and self-guidance.
Upcoming events:
