Hello parents and welcome to our blog. Thank you for visiting.
This week’s quote: ” We cannot create observers by saying ‘observe,’ but by giving them the power and the means for this observation and these means are procured through education of the senses”.

Last week on Friday, the class had a chance to see a volcano erupt by using baking soda, vinegar, and red food coloring. It was an exciting event for them!!
On Monday, we had a Russian Spectacular assembly. The children enjoyed watching the musicians and dancer perform for us.
We are continuing to learn all about dinosaurs and the differences between the time periods in which they lived (Triassic, Jurassic, Cretaceous periods).
We continue to discuss Asia and various countries – Afghanistan, Pakistan, and Iran. Ms. Maryam brought in a Persian rug to share with the children from her country.
On Wednesday, we had our first class field trip to the National History Museum. It was a great field trip and the children had a wonderful time seeing all the different exhibits. Thank you to all the chaperones who helped make this trip a success.
The children love to practice “Yoga” in the classroom after a long day!!
