The children are continuing to study the ocean and learn about the different animals and how they protect themselves from predators. We also discussed the Great Barrier Reef and looked at beautiful pictures of all the colorful fish.
On Thursdays, the children have been enjoying Spanish Class with Ms. Lina and are learning new songs as well. This week they learned a new song about farm animals.
On Friday, we celebrated George Washington’s birthday and discussed some important facts about him. Some children brought in a quarter to see Washington’s face on it.
On Tuesday, February 26th – the Kindergarteners will be going to Este McDoniel Elementary School to visit their Marine Lab. They will also have lunch and enjoy an hour of play at the nearby park. Please remember to pack a sack lunch and bring your child’s booster seat to school the morning of and leave it outside P3’s door labeled with your child’s name on it.
On Thursday, February 28th – We will have a visitor come to discuss Dental Health with the children.
Upcoming Events:
On Thursday and Friday, March 7th & March 8th – there will be Parent/Teacher Conferences. For both days, there will be an early dismissal @ 11:15am. Please look for a sign-up sheet posted soon.
On Friday, March 1st – celebrating Dr. Seuss’s Birthday!
On Friday, March 8th – Kindergarten Assembly @ 8:30am
