Hello Parents and welcome to our blog! Thank you for visiting!
This week’s quote
:“It is true that we cannot make a genius. We can only give to teach child the chance to fulfill his potential possibilities.” – Maria Montessori
This week we focused on all the different animals that live in Australia. We discussed their unique characteristics, having a pouch, and learned new terms such as marsupial.
The children are having fun exploring with new practical life activities, and strengthening their fine motor skills and independence.
On Friday, We discussed the Chinese New Year and learned a little about this special event. The children used chop sticks with their snack and got Chinese coins to take home.
Our kindergarteners celebrated their “100 Days of Kindergarten” on Thursday with a party filled with great activities, food, arts & crafts, and sharing their 100 day projects. It was a memorable day for them all and we are so very proud of their accomplishments. We want to also give a great “BIG Thank You” to our wonderful volunteers who helped put it all together. Thank You to Trista, Cathy, Nicole, and Jennifer.
Just a reminder for next week on Thursday, February 14th we will be passing out Valentine Day cards and making a special treat with the children. Please bring in your child’s decorated Valentine box by Thursday with Valentine cards for all 33 children addressed from your child only.
