Hello Parents and thank you for visiting our blog.
What a busy week it’s been!!
The children are really enjoying “reading buddies” on Fridays. They are becoming more comfortable with their buddy and love spending time with them.
The focus of this week has been ICD – International Children’s Day. Our classroom was transformed into China and the children were very excited to experience the land. We want to give a VERY BIG thank you to all the volunteers that helped support this day and for their time and effort spent. Also, thank you to Mrs. Pinter for organizing the whole event for us. We couldn’t have done it without all your help!!
International Children’s Day – WOW what an event!!! The children had a blast!!! They all had passports that were stamped from each continent that they visited. They enjoyed experiencing the different continents from each room, tasting different foods, making art projects related to the continent, and learning about each culture.
We want to also thank Mrs. Evensen for coming to our Kindergarten class on Tuesday and presenting an art project with the children. They were thrilled to be making a skeleton using white packing peanuts as the bones.
Our next big event will be the amazing Fall Festival which will be held on Friday, November 2nd from 5:00pm-8:00pm. Our classroom will be donating a basket for the festival to be raffled off and the theme is ice cream. Mrs. Pinter (our classroom mom) has offered to buy the items needed for the basket. However, we are requesting a donation from P3 families to cover the cost of the items. Your donation is very much appreciated.
