Hello Parents! Thank you for visiting our blog.
The children are really starting to enjoy the nice fall weather we are beginning to have!!
This week we covered a lot of science and math with our pumpkin study. We estimated the weight and number of lines on the pumpkin, and made predictions on whether it would sink or float. We discussed the different parts of the pumpkin from seed to pumpkin. We also added several new pumpkin works to the practical life area.
This week we received Fall leaves sent from New York (from Ms. Michele’s family) and added them to our Fall sensory table. The children also had fun doing leaf rubbings with them in the art center.
In our Cultural studies, we did the world map and explored the 7 continents and learned more songs.
